Adepero Okulaja, MD

Dr. Adepero Okulaja founded The Doctor's House in December 2017 and runs it in Edina as an internal medicine and integrated medicine specialist. Before opening her own practice, she worked as an employed physician. Her medical training started at Obafemi Awolowo University and Olabisi Onabanjo University in western Nigeria. After moving to the United States in 1994, she completed a preliminary year at the University of Pennsylvania, then an internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Earlier, she set up an internal medicine and pediatrics outpatient clinic in Menomonie, Wisconsin. In 2006 she relocated to Minnesota and practiced as an internal medicine physician at M Health Oxboro Clinic. She is also the author of a book, The Voice of One Woman. Her focus areas are internal medicine, women's health, root cause medicine and preventive screening, and she excels at diagnostic medicine and treating complex medical issues. Patient reviews portray a thorough, attentive primary care physician who spends time with patients, listens to their concerns, returns calls personally, answers emails promptly, refers to specialists when needed and orders diagnostic tests as they are needed.
