About
Adam Aldahan, MD, holds board certification in dermatology and Mohs surgery and oversees medical and surgical dermatology at the practice. His work centers on diagnosing and treating common and complex skin cancers, with dermoscopy and Mohs micrographic surgery among his procedures. He is on the medical staff at JFK Medical Center and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Dermatology Association of Radiation Therapy. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa there. He earned his medical degree with Research Distinction at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he spent a dedicated year in laser research. He later completed a clinical research fellowship in laser science covering laser physics, skin-device interaction and energy-based treatment safety. His internal medicine internship was at Florida Atlantic University, and his dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota. He has more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications and speaks English and Spanish. In cosmetic work he leads laser and light-based treatments, neuromodulators, dermal fillers and laser resurfacing, and performs Botox, Dysport and dermal fillers. For Mohs cases he reviews each layer under a microscope, checks the peripheral and deep margins, and uses advanced closure techniques matched to the location and size of the defect. Clinical interests include autoimmune skin disease, psoriasis and acne. He also developed the Anovo Skin skin care line.
