Achiamah Osei-Tutu

Achiamah Osei-Tutu is a board-certified dermatologist with an MD who practices at Osei-Tutu Dermatology & Hair Restoration. She holds the FAAD credential. Her specialties are hair restoration and aesthetic, medical and surgical skin care, with a particular focus on concerns of skin of color and melanin-rich skin.

She began her education with a bachelor's degree in biology from Binghamton University, then earned her medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, where she was selected as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute/NIH Research Scholar. She completed a medicine internship at Mount Sinai Hospital and then a dermatology residency at SUNY Health Sciences Center-Brooklyn, where she was chosen as chief resident in her final year. She has also pursued extensive additional training in hair loss disorders and hair restoration.

Beyond the exam room, she speaks at hair shows, organizes hair loss educational symposia, and works with stylists in New York on hair loss education. She has authored or coauthored a number of academic publications.
