Abrianna Howard

Abrianna Howard owns Loc Nerd in Lee's Summit. She began her natural hair career about eight years ago, at age 17, and attended cosmetology school starting at age 19. She is licensed as a cosmetologist and a loctician. Her work centers on textured and natural hair, with a focus on loc care and scalp health. She takes classes every year and keeps up with new hair research. Her stated next goal is to become a holistic hairstylist. Clients new to locs and clients returning for retwists or reattachments both come to her. She provides a Client Loc Care Plan with at-home maintenance tips and product recommendations.
