Abibat Durosimi

Abibat Durosimi is the president and creative director of Tabiba Styles, and she also accepts freelance commissioned work worldwide. She has more than 20 years of experience as a stylist and makeup artist, and she completed cosmetology training at Cosmetology Careers Unlimited in Portland, Oregon, in 1999.

Her work covers makeup, hair extensions and natural hairstyling, along with bridal hair and makeup that includes flare lash extensions. She was invited to serve as lead makeup artist and hairstylist for Prince's Welcome 2 America tour, which she worked on for a couple of years. She was also key makeup artist and hair stylist for the 2014 music video for Liv Warfield's Why Do You Lie, and she has worked with Liv Warfield as a client for years.

She has served as sponsor and lead makeup artist director for Portland's Bridal Shows, Portland Fashion Week, FASHIONxt, Nike and Macy's. In 2013 she joined RAW Artist as a make-up artist, her first year with the organization, and she was named Make-up Artist of the Year that year at the RAW Awards. She also completed a bridal spread and cover story for the 2013 fall/winter issue of Oregon Bride Magazine.
