Abbe Kierstein owns Blowouts by Abbe & More and is a licensed hairstylist. She is a topper specialist and a lived-in color expert, and her focus is on modern color trends, including highlights, lowlights, balayage and hair toppers. She started styling hair at 16 at the Maxis salon in Huntington, New York. She went through cosmetology school and earned a degree in education from Hofstra University. Before moving into professional styling, she worked as a Physical Education teacher in New York and styled hair for friends and family. She was named a five-time Top-100/200 finalist in the #oneshot Hair Awards from 2021 to 2024, a competition with over 80,000 entries a year, and was a Top-25 nominee in the Warm Balayage category in 2024.
