About
Aaron Lafrenz styles hair at Coda Salon, bringing more than thirty years behind the chair and over a decade of living in Portland to the role. He trained at the Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, where the cutting method of Vidal Sassoon, with its architectural emphasis, shaped his craft. He also learned in New York from Wendy Iles, Yannick D'Is and Luigi Murenu. An early career milestone was the Intercoiffure/Vidal Sassoon Excellence in New Design Award.
He has lived and worked in Berlin, Hamburg and Paris. Fashion Week credits include hair for Armani Couture, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Dries van Noten, and campaign work has been done for Wella, Chanel, Schwarzkopf, KMS and Goldwell. He has also contributed to editorial projects and has taken part in sets directed by Martin Scorsese and Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
